Rounded and full from base to rim, speckled like stone worn smooth by years of weather, with just a small dark mouth to keep a stem in place. Low and grounded, it holds its own on a nightstand or bookshelf without needing anything else around it.

Who
I’m Yotam Monjack, a designer and maker behind Yomo Studio.
I grew up in a family of architects and designers, so making things and paying attention to the small details have always been part of my life. Yomo Studio is where I get to follow that curiosity, work with my hands, and see where an idea can go.
What
I make minimal, unisex jewelry, accessories, and objects by hand.
I work with materials like concrete, wood, brass, clay, and wool. Some pieces are made to be worn, some to be held and used, and some are simply there because I think they’re beautiful.
The collection isn’t tied to one material or one type of object. It changes as I learn, make, and find something new I want to explore.
When
Yomo Studio is an ongoing process.
I don’t really see a finished point where I’ve figured everything out. One material leads to another. One idea turns into the next. Sometimes something works, sometimes it doesn’t, and both are part of making.
That idea is also behind the name Yomo, which means “every direction” in Japanese. I like the idea that I haven’t decided exactly where this needs to go.
Where
Every piece is made by hand in Denver, Colorado.
This is where I sketch, test, make mistakes, try again, and eventually turn raw materials into finished pieces.
The studio is as much a place for experimenting as it is a place for making.
Why
Because I’m curious about materials and what they can become.
Every material starts somewhere. Stone, clay, concrete, brass, wood, wool. I like touching it, working with it, learning from it, and seeing how far I can take it.
Can concrete feel delicate?
Can wood become something unexpected?
Can metal feel warm?
I don’t always know what the answer will be when I start. That’s the part I enjoy.
For me, Yomo Studio isn’t only about making a finished product. It’s about the process of finding it.
